New Home........

Thats right folks! I have a new home.......well a new Blog home that is!

I have decided to take a leap of faith and change my photography name and get a new blog!!!
This is SO exciting for me! The new name is Genesis Photography, and the new web address is

www.GenesisPhotography.blogspot.com

I will be transfering my pics over in the next week or so, and then start from there! I will also be having a NEW WEBSITE SOON!!!!!!! Very exciting news!
So give me a few days to get settled into the new home stead, and I will be back posting in no time!

Up Front : Self Portrait Challenge, Week 1

Its that time again! SPC Self Portrait Challenge has started a new theme for the month of June, Environment. The goal is to capture yourself in the environment around you.

Many of you may recognize this bush that is actually in my neighbors yard. I LOVE shooting in front of it because it blossoms ALL year! So it always looks like summer.
On my way out today, I took a quick snap shot with me and the bush! I think it turned out well! ;)

Its VERY rare that I will look straight into the camera, so this is a rare glance of me from the front! So I titled this "Up front" because, not only is this my front yard, but also the front of me!

A little about me!

So I was thinking that I dont post enough about myself and alot just about my photography. And I know this is a blog for my photography,b ut I also said I would share more about myself! hehe

Well I saw on a friend of mine's blog today that she found her "Theme Music" to her life.
Immediatly two songs popped in my head! And they are both SO much the story of my life!

First is the story about my Past, which is "Does anybody hear her" by Casting Crowns, one of my FAVE Christian Bands! You can listen to it here:




Then came the NEW antem to my life, "Im movin' on" by Rascal Flats. Sums me up perfectly! :)

Last maternity for now I promise!!!

lol ok so I know your all preggo-bellied out, but I decided to post a wonderful shoot I did the other day. This is Ms. G, she is friends with Ms. K from a few sessions ago. We did these shots in a beautiful garden that I LOVE to use, you may recognise the surroundings! :) I had such a great response to my Maternity Special for may, this is the last shoot resulting from that. I will be sharing some new photos of a different nature soon! :) But for now, I am getting the baby-anticipating out of my system! hehehe

Babies Babies Babies!!!

WOW!! It is REALLY baby season! My phone has been ringing off the hook, and several of my photog friends are prego too! But everyone knows that women have babies in the summer! hehe

So I thought I would share a session from this last week that I just sent off to this mommy, Ms. A. This is her third child.....and they have opted not to know the sex as you will see in the pics! :) This was her idea to do the question mark and I just LOVED it! I will have to remember that one for sure!

Thanks Ms. A. for giving me such a wonderful afternoon! Your boys were precious and you can really see the love in you and your husbands eyes! :) I had a wonderful time!

Long Time no see.............and a new song!

Hehehe! I know I have been gone!! I have been booked solid the last week and have SOOO many pictures to proof and get sent out to clients! I also took off Monday to spend with Miss L., so that was a GREAT relief! hehe
But I come baring pictures of women baring babies! hehe Here is a maternity session I did this last week that I just LOVED!! This is Ms. K. What a beautiful mom she is! This will be her third baby! She just glowed the whole time and was a sheer pleasure to work with!
I cant wait to get the whole session sent to her, but I am sure she will want them soon after this sneak peak! hehe I know, I'm a terrible person giving sneak peaks! hehe
